What is THE GIVE BACK DELAWARE?
Founded by Angell Morris of Signatures by Angell Catering, LLC and supported by Bonita Finney of Nee Nee's Blessed Hands Cleaning Service, these two small business owners began The Give Back Delaware on March 17, 2020; the day after the State of Delaware shut down for quarantine. With $67 dollars, Chef Angell made 50 bagged lunches for the citizens of Wilmington, DE. This caught the attention of some awesome ministries in Wilmington, and the community collaboration between small businesses and local churches pulled together to serve hot and cold lunches and dinners to the communities in Wilmington. The Give Back DE has since served over 1,500 meals to the communities of Wilmington, DE and New Castle, DE. The Give Back DE also serves the Wilmington Fire Departments every Thursday, as a thank you for their tireless service to our communities amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic.
